Hello all,

Has anyone had any experience booking a domestic return flight from Cayo Coco to Havana?

If so, are there daily flights? And, what was the approximate fare?

I’ve checked the Google and there are a couple of companies in Cuba who offer flights. However, after attempting to ‘book’ one, I didn’t get any flight results. Their information is severely lacking (not too surprising).

I know the Viazul bus goes to and fro but I am not interested in taking an 18 hour round-trip bus ride.

Thanks everyone.

Trevor

Maybe try booking it through a tourism agency in Canada?. At least if anything goes wrong you will have someone to talk to…

Cubajet might be a good resource to

We were looking the other day for flights from Havana to Santiago

Just punched in Cayo coco to havana and says it’s a daily flight with Aerogaviota.

But no flight comes up when I pick a date.??. Strange - Or maybe Cuba being Cuba…

You could also ask the hotel when you get down there, They may have info as well.

Cheers

I’ll dig around a bit; thanks for the suggestion Danny.

A coworker said that many seats are reserved for resort guests doing excursions and only fly on certain days. We’re not planning on going until April so I should have lots of time to inquire further. Thanks surreypuffer.

When we were at Cayo Santa Maria we took a flight from a local airport - I think it was Abel Santamaria Airport - into Havana for the day. Was about a 50min flight and about $100 each if memory serves.

There is the Jardines del Ray airport closer to Cayo Coco but I don’t think they offer a Havana flight.

Or you could bus it in and spend the night in Havana. That way you could go to the Cabaret Tropicana as well.
